Return and refund policy

1. Your rights under New Zealand law
As a consumer in New Zealand, you have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for purpose, and be completed within a reasonable time. The Fair Trading Act 1986 prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct about our services.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. If there is a conflict, the CGA prevails.
2. Free online guides
Guides published free on our website are not subject to refunds as no payment is involved.
3. Consultation services
- Cancellation 48+ hours before: Full refund or free rescheduling
- Cancellation within 48 hours: Credit toward a future session at our discretion, unless we can fill the slot
- We cancel: Full refund or alternative appointment at no extra cost
- Service not meeting CGA guarantee: You may be entitled to a remedy — contact us to discuss
4. Digital products
Premium digital downloads may be refunded within 14 days if you have not accessed or downloaded the content. Once delivered, refunds are generally not available unless the product is materially defective or not as described.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@tendonsshine.world with your name, order reference, purchase date, and reason. We respond within five business days.
6. Processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take additional time to process the credit.
7. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand for claims within its monetary limits, or seek advice from Citizens Advice Bureau or Consumer Protection (consumerprotection.govt.nz).
